Hometown: Freetown, Sierra Leone

Undergrad: Abilene Christian University. Go Wildcats!

Medical School: Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Go Green!

Hobbies/Interests: Avgeek, Traveler, Cook, Foodie, playing with my dogs, and spending time with friends.

Why Med-Peds: I loved working with kids and adults. I want to be able to treat the widest variety of diseases and populations as a physician. Med-Peds allows me to do that while providing flexibility and freshness switching between two patient populations.

Why DMC/Detroit: I wanted a big city that was small enough to feel at home and know while providing me with direct flight to the most places domestic and abroad. Detroit is up and coming again with great new restaurants and a lot of authentic comfort foods from all over the world, and entertainment to keep me distracted when not working.

Career Goals: To work in global health services management setting up and managing health systems in underserved communities. As a physician scientist integrating high quality translational research in addressing the healthcare needs of the vulnerable communities underrepresented in current medical literature.
